Jon Scheyer
Jon Sheyer is an All-American basketball player. He led his high school team (Glenbrook North) to the state championship as a junior. After his high school career he went over to Duke and played for them for four years. Scheyer was invited to play at a Miami Heat camp before the season and he could have had great success if he didn't get severely hurt his eye. After recovering from that he then tried the L.A Clippers training camp but he was not to successful because his eye injury was not fully healed. He then played 16 games for the Houston Rockets D-league team and did well. Then he went to Israel and had great success there. He signed a two year contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv for 450,000$. And now he is playing in the 76ers summer league and see if he has a potential career with them. I think that he will somehow make it in the NBA even though he will have to work his way up into better teams and take his time.

Freshman?...Or...Freshmeat?
High school is a big change in everyone's lives and can decide your whole future. High school is different from the previous levels of school. Longer periods, more freedom, harder classes and wayyyy more drama. In High School, you can't start of at the top, you have to gradually build your way up. And in order to do that you have to deal with being at the bottom of the food chain. Which is commonly known as freshman year. Freshman year is the kickoff to your high school career. It is probably the socially hardest year because you meet a lot of new people and you have to deal with the other three grade levels ahead of you. The trick is to try to enjoy it and just wait because all the seniors now went through what you are going through. Everyone is scared or nervous in there own way. Some people are scared of the older kids, others are scared of the harder classes and some are scared of making the athletic teams that they want to join. I'm sure that in time people will find there own thing and fit in but at first everyone starts the same. On the first day of high school everyone is fresh with brand new opportunities. What happened the previous years don't count for anything. What really matters is that you can balance your time and do all the things you want to do and get your school work completed. I am an incoming freshmen and i'm trying to stay calm because after I get used to it, i'm going to make the most of it...

The Man Who Drew The Future?
![]() |
London Olympics Prediction |
Born in 1898, Benjamin Solari Parravicini was know as a artist and sculpture. He was a simple and naturally talented man. He went on to being the director of the Buenos Aires fine arts museum. It seems as if he was a simple guy until his plain but complex drawings were coming true. There is no way he could have guessed that these things would happen. He did them many years before they came true. He died in 1974 but his predictions are still coming true. His predictions are in the form of a simple drawing but with a metaphorical message under them that people only understood after the events happened. For instance he said in one of his messages "The North american freedom will loss its light, its torch will light no well as yesterday did it, and the monument will be hit for twice". This was written in 1939. what this means is that somewhere in the U.S there is a torch which is clearly the statue of liberty in New York there will be a monument that will be hit twice. This sounds exactly what happened on September 11th decades later. There has been arguments whether he just go lucky or this man could actually paint the future. I think that its most likely just lucky coincidence's. But there is only one way to find out. Sometime in the 1930's Parravicini drew a picture with a series of metaphors under it that practically say that in the 2012 London Olympics a tragedy will happen between China , Russia and the U.S. A video was made explaining the secrets in the pictures and in the metaphors. Whether you believe it or not, we will see what happens during the Olympics. Check out the video for yourself. WARNING: its all in spanish, but the message is still clear.

Who will win the NBA finals?
A question has gone around to who will be winning the NBA finals this year whether its the Miami Heat or the Oklahoma City Thunder. So far the Thunder won the first game with Kevin Durant stepping it up and showing Lebron up with 36 points and right behind him Westbrook with 27 points. The thing that determines who will win it all is that each player has to do their part in order for them to win. The Heat has very good potential but last game against the Thunder the only player with success was LeBron James. On the Thunder there are multiple players who are productive which is why the Heat lost. The Heat need to step it up and not live in LeBrons shadow. The defense of the Thunder is a key role to why they won the first game. Thabo Sefelosha played great defense on Wade and decreasing his shooting percentage by 10%. Chris Bosh needs to contribute a little more in order to win. It is clear that OKC has a better chance of winning because of Kevin Durant leading the team in points and the rest of the team getting adding to the score board. LeBron James doesn't have a lot of help. He's Michael Jackson playing with a bunch of Tito Jacksons" says Charles Barkley on the Dan Patrick Show. In conclusion I think that OKC has the advantage and will win in the overall long run. I think that the heat doesn't have the confidence or the strategy to win it all. My moneys on OKC all the way. If the Heat doesn't fix their glitches then they don't have much of a chance.

2012....Real or Fake?
In the past couple of years there has been a lot of debate whether the world will come to an end on December 21st, 2012. This originally comes from the Mayans calender that claims that the world will end on that date. Movies like "Apocalypto" and "2012" has led some people to believe that this is true. I beg to differ. I believe that the world ending in 2012 is false. I used to think "what if the world actually ends?" So I took my time and did some research on it. The first sign that the world wont end is that in previous years they also said the world would end. For instance in the year 2000 there was a panic because people thought that that would be the end of the world. But now nobody even cares about it know. So the media has pulled the same trick on us before and we are simply falling for it again. My next piece of evidence is that the Mayans lived roughly 3000 B.C , but in the year 45 B.C Julius Caesar invented leap year. Leap year has been around for about 2000 years which means that we are roughly 500 days behind what we should be on. I bet the Mayans didn't see that coming. So in theory "doomsday" should have been sometime last year. My third piece of evidence is NASA...yes NASA. They were a little angry that people thought the world was going to end so they did their homework and their is nothing unusual that happens this December. They studied everything from solar storms to the planets aligning up and even star patterns. The universe will be the same universe we know when the day comes. The reason why this catastrophe was even invented was...$$$$$....money. People love to see movies and shows about the end of the world because it gets them thinking therefore the creators are feeding off of all the watchers and making tons of money from it. So what do you think will happen? Will the world end December 21st, 2012? That's for you to think about.
